Is 'Table Designer' not available in the Visual Studio 2013 Express? Since it is greyed out (as on the picture below) the option to adjust/manage relationships is to use SQL Server Data Tools. I couldn't find any clear information on the web about this problem.

Hi Piotr Table Designer and Query designer are currently disabled in Visual Studio 2013. Microsoft is putting all of the Visual Studio Database functionality in a new plugin called SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) More information here: msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/data/tools.aspxThe SSDT plugin for VS 2013 looks like it its currently still in construction or has been pulled due to reported bugs. When it comes (back) online you can find it here: www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=42313or download it via the Nuget Package Manager: Tools -> Extensions and updates - > Updates In the meantime, you can use Sql Server Management Studio (SSMS) to create and manage your databases. It's my favorite method of database manipulation. You can download it here: www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=7593Alternatively, a previous version of Visual Studio (2010 or 2012) should have access to the Table and Query designer. -Michiel EDIT: Kevin Cunnane of Microsoft had this to say: "In Visual Studio 2013 the query designer and database diagram features are no longer available from the Server Explorer. If you wish to keep using the query designer, the only other workaround for now is to access it from SSMS (Sql Server Management Studio)."

Hi Michiel,
Looks like Microsoft came up with a brilliant quick fix (but..it is free so I cannot complain;) ) Thank you very much!

I am sorry for my unclear response. My point was MS just greyed out the fields instead of removing them/fixing the issue. I will let know as soon as i will find the solution
Cheers!
